This makes me pirate music!

Fuck. I’m sorry about that. But again … Fuck … Today Andrew Bird, one of my biggest music idols, which I have seen live two times, and bought most of his records, released his newest album Noble Beast. Oh wait. Only in United States, Canada and Australia! Europe (and rest of the world I guess) have to wait until second of February. What the fuck is that all about. Screw that. Hello Pirate Bay. This makes me so mad. Release the fucker world wide. If it would have been available in iTunes now. I would have bought it. And I would probably bought it again when he comes to Sweden next time to play. Now I will only buy it if I go see him live. I don’t know who’s responsible for this backass decision. But it sure is a mess …

So… go buy it when it hits the stores, don’t make excuses like “I had to wait 2 more weeks”. Well, you have the album already, now all you’ve got to do is pay for it.

I will probably buy it. But this is so backwards I dont know where to begin. Why should we have to wait two weeks to download the thing from iTunes. The world is so small these days. World wide release on this stuff is no question in my mind anymore. I understand movies on cinema which maybe cant get a good enough schedule. But music? And just two weeks? Some music doesnt get released here until months later. Cause the artist is out on tours or whatever and isnt that famous in Europe or whatever. But two weeks? His has a planed schedule of shows in the US until April. So thats not it.

Oh well … I just really dont like (hate) this old way of thinking. If they want to stop pirate music this is hardly the way. And for the record. This is the first pirated music from me for really long…
